NCAA Men's Final Four® Analytics Challenge
The Men’s Final Four Analytics Challenge brings together Indiana’s brightest undergraduate and graduate students to tackle real-world NCAA business and operational challenges using cutting-edge data science and machine learning. This year, teams will develop predictive models for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, competing to forecast tournament outcomes with the highest accuracy. Finalists will present their insights on National Championship Monday before a distinguished panel of judges, with top teams recognized for their innovation and analytical excellence.
Expanding the spirit of competition, the Challenge also invites high school students to participate in the IU Indy DataViz Games, hosted by the IU Indianapolis Sport Innovation Institute. Students will analyze a decade of NCAA Division I basketball attendance data, crafting compelling visual stories that reveal what drives fans to the game. The most creative and insightful visualizations will be celebrated on Monday, March 16, 2026, spotlighting the next generation of data storytellers.
