The Johnson County Fair has been held for over 183 years. The fair first started in 1838 on the property at Martin Place in Franklin. The current fairgrounds location at 144 and US 31 was purchased by the county in 1888. The fair has been there ever since - in the heart of Franklin, Indiana.
